Mercedes-Benz shows some information about minivan Vito which will work on battery. During 2010 more than 100 Vitos will be delivered to 20 clients who want to make transportation in ecological areas with absence of exhaust and noise. This car was designed in order to work on battery electricity and to have power as internal combustion engine has. Powerful battery made on lithium-ion technology providing Vito with energy.
Voltage is about 400V, 16A current and 32kV/h of power allow together to make moving during 130km. But this distance can be increased in case of competent driving. The electric motor delivers a peak output of 90 kW having 80 km/h electronically limited top-speed.

Nice post. This is the first article I’ve read about the SLS AMG E cell that listed the HP and battery life. Pretty impressive specs.
