Only one year didn’t pass but Mercedes has already introduced officially SLS AMG E-Cell. This electric car has four electric engines. Total power is about 533hp with 880Nm of torque! Amazing! This car is able to accelerate till 100 km/h almost in 4 seconds.

Electricity accumulates in high-voltage Lithium-polimeric (a kind of lithium batteries). Battery block are located under the hood, in central tonnel and behind rear seats. This will give even mass distribution. “Green version” of SLS AMG doesn’t pollute an air with any gramme of harmful substances.

SLS is able to ride about 200 km on one charge. But it unknown how may time we will need for battery charging. Also developers changed front suspension in order to create a free space for electric engines. Besides lighter brake disks were installed.

Electrical SLS AMG can be differed by a new original yellow color, another bumpers, black wheel disks and side mirrors from the outside. Aerodynamic features were worked over and upgraded. Thus downforce was increased. Also we can find some changes inside. A dashboard was changed fully.

10-inch display was mounted in order to control all options. There are three modes of transmission work (drive, reverse and parking) instead of automatic selector. Production of SLS AMG must take its start in 2013. Only one car was built for test and shows.
