Long-expected renewed Mercedes-Benz ML

The third generation of Mercedes-Benz ML may be introduced officially in March 2011 in Geneva. Now this car is under checkouts on a different testing areas. But we have some detailed information about future offroader. A new ML will receive renewed appearance in style of all modern Mercedes models saving at the same time all its family characteristics.


All ML fans can be calmed. It is not a revolution (in technical and design sense). Just front part of this model was changed under the pressure of a new Mercedes’s style. It is necessary to point that a new fashionable at this time diode front headlights will be installed.

And there are some interesting changes will take place under the hood. It seems that a new Ml will be produced with diesel-electric engine. Four-cylinder 2.1-liter power unit (with 204hp) will work in cooperation with electric one having about 41hp of power.

A summary amount of power won’t be too huge. But these car can be separated from others due to big and amazing economy because a new ML will be able to drive some kilometers in traffic jam without using an internal combustion engine! All gasoline engines also have been changed (the same situation with C-Class).

From now 3.5-liter version will have 306hp of power instead of 272hp. 5.5-liter power unit (388hp) will change 4.4-liter engine with 435hp.
