Mercedes-Benz ML 450 Hybrid 4Matic will be introduced in the USA

Mercedes-Benz Company proclaimed about coming of new hybrid ML 450. First four-wheel drive vehicle will be introduced in the United States of America. By fuel consuming this car will stand in one line with four-cylinder vehicles. Two electrical engines and gasoline engine with 275hp of power were placed. This hybrid system supplies with fuel expending about 11 litres per 100km in urban cycle and 9.8 litres per 100km on a highway.


ML 450 joins Mercedes S Class hybrid and diesel models BlueTEC in Company’s sector which consists of cars without hard damage towards environment. Electrical engines take energy from nickel-metal hydride batteries with liquid cooling which is located under bottom of luggage trunk. Powerful computer controls functioning of hybrid system choosing the best moving mode 160 times per second. The system is able to make 50 million calculations per seconds for supporting ideal balance between fuel consuming and functionality of this automobile.

During parking or moving with low speed ML 450 moves by only electrical engines. The highest moving speed using electrical engines about 55 km/hr. During hard rapid acceleration gasoline engine joins itself automatically, besides its work will be insensible.
