Tuning atelier Brabus presented splendid present on 30th anniversary of legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Brabus G V12 Biturbo is a real monster. Technical characteristics are similar to Mercedes SUV GLK Brabus. Mercedes Gelandewagen has never had a such fast and powerful modification. And maybe it won’t have more powerful one because the production of Gelandewagen will be stopped next year.
Designers from Brabus changed exterior a little. Diode light appeared under headlights, front bumper received new form, and sheet guard was installed under engine part. Also this sheet guard isincreasing general dynamics. Interior was decorated with black leather and traditional moldings made of stainless steel and neon Brabus logo appeared on sills.
Radical black color which was used even in painting of 21′ wheel disks gave enough ominous and strong look. Thus we can see that it is a good idea to compete with this G-Class. But of course the main change was in engine part.
Brabus atelier placed in 6.3-liter 12-cylinder bi-turbo engine. But the total power was reduced from 720 hp till 700 hp. And it is not little amount which can give maximal 1320Nm of torque, but limited till 1100Nm.
Advanced 5-speed automatic gearbox. Dynamical characteristics of Brabus G Class make an awe. Heavy offroader accelerates till 100km/hr in 4.3 seconds. Besides super car Audi R8 does this in 0.3 sec lower. We can only imagine what driver of this Brabus G Class will feel driving this monster. Maybe you will have to provide yourself with ammonia spirit.
Speedometer was marked till 280 km/hr and most probable this car will be able to get faster speed. But engineers limited speed till 240 km/hr. We have not to forget about past army times of this car and also it wasn’t rate at these speeds and power. Also nobody didn’t revoke fundamental laws of physics. Of course this Brabus G Class Gelandewagen will have a high price. To be precise it will have price of about 380 000 Euro.
