A new Mercedes-Benz CLS first upgraded by Brabus

Brabus bureau bragged about it last novelty. It is removable ECO PowerXtra D6S module which has friendship with Euro-6 econorms. So this will be present with a new Mercedes-Benz CLS with modernized body-kit. Also Brabus prepared different aerodynamic improvements, renewed interior and increased productivity.


Thus specialists took a pair of diesel engine for training. First 3-liter diesel engine received above-mentioned plug-and-play devise. As a result it gives 313hp of power and 690Nm of torque (instead of past 265hp and 620Nm). But this power is available only in cooperation with sport modes of gearbox.

A similar module (called ECO PowerXtra D4) was installed in the second 2.1-liter diesel power unit (204hp and 500Nm) adding about 31hp of power and 60Nm of torque.

Brabus specialists offers to supply suspension with shortened springs (-30mm) or elements with reprogrammed controlling electronics (-35mm). All customers are able to order more tight shock absorbers adjustment.

Also Brabus prepared sport exhaust system consisting of four stainless steel exhaust pipes for people who do not like a simple exhaust sounds. Brabus CLS has a special Monoblock F wheel disks. Some time ago they were forged only. But from now it is possible to order cast ones.

By the way, there are six variants of wheel disks design are available. Also Brabus made a special body-kit being tested in air pipe. It contains polyurethane molding on sills with diode lighting, front bumper with diode lights, splitter, modified rear spoiler, side air intakes. Decorative engine cover does not influence on dynamical characteristics, but make glad with its aesthetics.

Interior. All options vary from a new sport steering wheel (decorated with different leather and wooden materials) till wide line of decoration with leather and alcantara, aluminum and carbon. The price for improvement in unknown. However, we hope that the price will be announced in Geneva.
