Mercedes Company promised to show a new Mercedes CL Class. And they did it. Besides Mercedes-Benz Company refuted completely and officially that a new CL Class won’t be called S-Class coupe.
The most interesting changes were made under the hood. A new engine with 4.6 liters will give 435 hp of power and 700Nm of torque (instead of past 5.5-liter engine). And this change was justified. Despite of smaller engine volume a new 4.6-liter engine is more economical in 10-15% and more ecological. Besides it is more powerful in 47Hp and 170Nm of torque.
Mercedes CL 63 AMG received a new V8 5.5-liter power unit giving 543hp of power and 800Nm of torque. Another CL 65 AMG version will give 630hp of power and 1000Nm of torque. Mercedes Company added just some frills. Now headlights will have diode lights and daylight lights will be integrated in a front bumper.
A new coupe will have a new system which will control location of a car relating dividing line. This system will notice to driver about dislocation with steering wheel vibration or alarm. At this moment a new CL will have more angular side mirrors and new light-alloy wheel disks with a new design. Exhaust system received a new pipes being integrated in diffuser.
Interior. Four variants of decoration with wood are available. There are some novelties in this car. A new Comand multimedia system with 7.2Gb hard drive for music, navigation, Bluetooth, USB.
