AMG adds sport temper to almost all Mercedes-Benz cars. Some time ago a new C-Class was presented. After this AMG version of C-Class sedan and C-Class coupe also were introduced. And now we have AMG version of C-Class Coupe.
C-Class Coupe AMG received well known V8 6.2-liter engine with 457hp of total power (487hp with AMG Performance package) and 600nm of maximal torque. Dynamical characteristics are same with C-Class sedan. C-Class Coupe AMG accelerates till 100 km/hr in 3.9 seconds.
Also a total speed is about 250 km/hr bien limited by electronics. AMG version has readjusted running gear. optimized springs and shock absorbers were installed. Stabilization system has three mode and can be turned off.
Also C-Class coupe received a new AMG Speedshift MCT gearbox. The main distinction is multiple-plate clutch instead of fluid converter. This gearbox has four modes. They are C (main), S (sport), S+(sport plus) and M (manual).
Also Drexler differential gear with 40% of self-holding in rear axle can be installed with additional payment. This version has interior of Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan. Seats and door panels decoration was made of Designo leather materials.
Dashboard was decorated with black royal varnish. Steering wheel has two kinds of leather: Nappa and Designo. From the outside this AMG can be differed by black 18′ matted wheel disks. According to tentative information, AMG version of C-Class Coupe will costs about 70 000 Euro in Germany.
