It is too hard to imagine a simple family Mercedes-Benz B-Class with 5.5-liter V8 power unit which can accelerate this car till 250 km/hr. But this car really exists and it is a fact. But it is too early to be happy for this extraordinary car being in AMG line, because this car is only a prototype having no relationship with AMG tuning center yet.
It is more simple. About 12 young trainees from Daimler decided to check what power unit can be installed in not huge engine area of B-Class. As a result 5.5-liter V8 engine with 378hp of power unit (taken from E500) was placed in B200 CDI. From now B55 can accelerate till 100 km/hr in 5.2 seconds. But it is not excepted that AMG will have the same car…
