Mercedes-Benz laid down one’s cards relating a new electric car. It is Mercedes Benz A Class E-Cell. This car was elaborated on a base of a simple Mercedes-Benz A Class. E-Cell is an electric automobile with 95hp of power and 290Nm of torque.
According to manufacturer’s statements exactly this kind of car was chosen because of daily needs of typical family. Besides installation of lithium-ion batteries and electric engine didn’t have an influence on indoor and baggage free space. It fully corresponds with simple free space in serial A-Class. E-Cell is able to ride during 200km using only one battery charge. Acceleration from 0 till 100 km/hr will take about 5.5 seconds. The maximal speed is about 150 km/hr. About 500 examples of A-Class E-Cell will be produced.
